1. How did you learn that you have cancer? How did you come to terms with your diagnosis?
Learn of the diagnosis after a mammogram. I was pretty calm, relied on my faith. Had grandkids I was transporting to school, busy, did have time of cancer.
2. What surprised you most about your experience with cancer?
I didn’t get sick with the chemo. After out of pocket $100 for the meds. The radiation was horrible.
3. What did you learn from this experience or what advice do you have that will be helpful for others faced with a similar journey?
Weigh your options carefully, but not too long. If you believe in God, just get it done.
